The 10th Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony has tickets priced at $75. Expected to be in attendance are ESPN baseball analyst Peter Gammons and former big league manager and player Bobby Valentine, who played for Yarmouth in 1967. "Injury Prevention for Baseball Pitchers"
This lecture will be held by Dr. Kevin J McGovern, PT, CSCS, who managers the Malden Bulldogs in the Yawkey League, plays for the N. Reading Vipers in the MSBL, and owns Game 7 Sports Training.

This Lecture will answer the question: Why there are so many arm injuries despite vast improvements in medicine and rehabilitation over the last 20 years. Kevin will discuss the anatomy and movement patterns of the shoulder, pitching exercises, proper and improper mechanics, and have a live teaching lesson demonstration of pitchers that he has rehabilitated. Winterball Baseball Extravaganza
Winterball began as a concept in 2001 to exist the playing season. By adding an additional game the first weekend in December, the length of time leading to the next season would be shortened. Beginning in 2004, the game partnered with Toys for Tots and the United States Marines, requiring each participant to bring a toy for a child in need as their entry fee. Only once has snow stopped winter baseball.
