BASEBALL ARTIST - CHRIS SPEAKMAN
Chris Speakman is a lifelong lover of sports with a passion for history which drove him to create his "Sports Propaganda" limited edition prints. Conceptually inspired by the various war-like rivalries around sports as well as propaganda art from the 1940's, Chris's goal is to recruit fans to support their favorite team. Chris's work has been featured in The Boston Globe, ESPN.com, and CBS-Boston. He also designed the program cover for the 2011 MLB All-Star Game, and has worked on national ad campaigns for Dunkin Donuts and Topps Trading Cards. A 1998 graduate of the University of Hartford with a BA in Illustration, Chris Speakman lives in Somerville, Massachusetts.
