BASEBALL ARTIST - JONATHAN BANCHICK
Jonathan Banchick was born in 1965 in Brockton, Massachusetts. Drawing from an early age, he began copying from comic books and fantasy art. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and took a job in the Advertising Department of Filene's Department Store. He joined Quad/Graphics in 2000 and has become one of their top Color Mac operators. Banchick's work has been featured in Beckett Baseball Magazine several times, though his claim to fame is developing digital illustration used on Charity Wines labels for more than 20 major league baseball players, leading to sale of more than 1 Million bottles of wine, and raising about $1,250,000 for athlete's charities.
