The SMMBL has two age divisions: Age 25+ and Age 35+. Our players come from all around the Greater Portland area.The SMMBL is entirely a wood bat league.
Age 25+ games start end of April and finish mid-September. Most of our games are played on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM. We also schedule night games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights during the summer months with a start time of 7:00PM.
Age 35+ games begin the 3rd week of May and finishing with playoffs in August. Our games are played on Monday and Wednesday nights beginning at 7:00PM.
The SMMBL hosts the annual Downeast Wood Bat Classic over 4th of July weekend and brings teams from all over New England. |

The Twilight Baseball League is arguably the oldest of its type in North America. Based in Portland, as well as having clubs in Biddeford and Auburn, the league features some of the best local college baseball talent in the state of Maine. The purpose of the league is continues to promote, govern, and conduct non professional baseball in northern New England, as well as encourage sportsmanship, fostering wholesome recreation opportunities and to provide interest and entertainment to the general public. |
