The Sunset League, the oldest after-supper amateur baseball league in the United States, was officially organized here at White Park in 1909. The original teams were the Haymakers, the Old Timers, the Sluggers, and the White Parks. Rich in history and tradition, the league was the training ground for stars such as Red Rolfe of the New York Yankees. Games continue on the original site. |

The Granite State Baseball League has been in existence since 1992. This independent
adult baseball league is currently comprised of teams from the southern New Hampshire
area. Teams are made up of former high school, college, minor league, and other baseball
players, 30 years of age or older, who still have the love of baseball in their veins.
The season begins mid April; playoffs began end of August. Most games are played
on the weekend. Each team plays an 18 game schedule, and players must play 33% of
league games to be eligible for the playoffs. |

The New Hampshire Baseball League is an adult recreational baseball league that will include players who are at least 38 years old. The league began in 2003 when it spun off from the Granite State Men's Baseball League. In 2004, the NHBL40 became affiliated with the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL). The MSBL hosts tournaments nationally each year.
The season begins the last week of April and end in August. A tournament will follow the regular season. All regular-season games will be played on Sunday's.
This is a wood bat league. Games will be 9 innings in duration, subject to a 3-hour time limit.

The Seacoast NH MSBL league has completed it's 17th season
of 28 and over baseball. The League play begins in May finishes regular
season play (14 games) by the end of August. Playoffs begin in early September with
our League World Series concluding by the end of the month. Every team makes the
playoffs.
The Seacoast MSBL hosts the Downeast Woodbat Classic and Wood Bat Invitational each year. |
