The George Donnelly Sunset League plays its games at Cardines Field in Newport, Rhode Island. Play began in 1919 when the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad gave permission to a group of its employees to establish the Sunset League. The Sunset League is so named because games began at 5:30 P.M. and ended at dusk. Still playing games today, but now with lights, the Sunset League is the oldest continuous amateur baseball league in the United States.

A 20-game schedule plus playoffs begins first week of May and ends late August. All games are played at Cardines Field in Newport.

The Rhode Island Amateur Baseball League was born of the tradition of the Tim O'Neil Amateur League and the glory days of years past. From it's early years to the 60's teams like Harris Auto, Cranston Oil and McGarry's Resturant featured some of the finest players of their day. The best amateur baseball in Rhode Island.

The Rhode Island Men's Senior Baseball League (RIMSBL) is made up of people 18 years old and older playing baseball and contains age 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+ and 55+ divisions. RIMSBL has been in existence since 1989 and is affiliated nationally with the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL).
