Matt Mothander is a two year veteran of the MABL. After pitching for the Coast Guard Academy Bears Baseball team from 2001-2005, Matt Joined the Senators with great expectations. In his first year, Matt pitched well for the senators, but missed the second half of the season due to commitments with the U.S.C.G. Matt's best game of 2006 was on July 16th when he went 3-3 at the plate and pitched 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits against the eventual MABL Champion Reds. During the beginning of the second year, Matt picked up right where he left off, winning his first game on the mound and going 2 for his first 4 at the plate.
