Congratulations to the Boston United for sweeping their
division in the MSBL World Series this past week with a perfect 5-0 record! Brett
Rudy, this year's sole White Sox representative on the United, hit .333 in the series.
Unfortunately, the United lost to the Sacramento Braves in the first round of the
playoffs. The Bay Area Rockies went on to win the Championship. See the United Photo Album. |

The 2002 MABL Banquet
was held Friday, October 4th, 7:00 p.m. -- McKeon Post in Dorchester. Awards for
the MABL Champions were distributed, as well as for the 24 different individual award
winners -- including the White Sox' Jon Mead who was voted the Premier Secondbaseman
in the MABL.

September:
| 4th | The White Sox Team Party
was held today, Saturday, September 28th at Sam Voolich's place. Many Sox players
and guests were in attendance for El Pelon provided food and a keg of Harpoon.

| 29th | Yesterday, the 4th Annual Rockies Open was held at George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park. Fifteen foursomes,
with 7 MABL teams represented, as well as Rockies friends and family participated.
From the White Sox, Brett Rudy, Jim Baldayga and Rob Gnoinski participated and finished
7 over par with a 77.

| 27th | Today at Jim Rice Field, the Boston Baseball
League hosted the 1st Annual South
End Youth Baseball Camp to improve
youth baseball in Boston. Throughout the day, close to 35 kids aged 8-12 participated
in drills and a mini-scrimmage. Red Sox' pitching great Luis Tiant also was in attendance.
From the White Sox, Brett Rudy, Josh Gordon, Dave Timmons and Sam Voolich were in

| 24th | The White Sox put on quite a display at the MABL All-Star
game this past weekend. Jon Mead was selected the All-Star MVP, as he hit a 2-RBI double to drive in the game's first runs. Al Wiesner was one of only two All-Stars to collect 2 hits. And Mike McInnis legged out an infield single. Overall, Sox were 4 for 8 with 1 run, 2RBI and a stolen base.

| 15th | The White Sox battled the Mariners at
Olympic Stadium, home of the Montreal Expos. It was the first Boston Baseball League
game ever played outside of the United States. View the Montreal Photo Album.

May:
| 25th | The White Sox are proud to announce the
beginning of a new relationship with El Pelón Taquería, our new team sponsor. El Pelón serves authentic Mexican food
and is located right around the corner from Fenway Park at 92 Peterborough Street.
Their specialties include Fish Tacos, Horchata, Pozole and Chile Rellenos -- all
for under $6. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., 7 days a week.
