October:
| 26th | Sox in flocks at MABL Banquet The MABL End-of-Year Banquet was held last evening at The Rack and a record 170 players and guests were in attendance. The Reds and White Sox were recognized for their Championship seasons, while individual award winners were also honored such as Chris Stone for winning Cy Young, as well as Ivan Clemente and Dave Martin who won Player's Choice awards. | 1st | Dave Martin represents Sox at All-Star Game The Mid-summer Classic was rained out in July and rescheduled after the end of the season. As a result, Dave Martin was the lone White Sox All-Star in attendance. Will Bissonnette, Jason Hoye and Chris Stone had also been selected. The reschedule was also shortened due to rain, called after 7 innings, with the Bay State beating the Atlantic 7 to 5 at historic LeLacheur Park in Lowell, Massachusetts. Dave Martin had a few tough at bats and got some work in the outfield.

September:
| 23rd | Sox swept in Finals by Reds; Settle as Atlantic Conference Champions The Reds have won the MABL Championship, sweeping the reigning champion White Sox, 3 games to none, in a rematch of last year's Finals. The Sox swept the Marlins and Mariners in the playoffs for a great chance to pull off the repeat, but the Reds outplayed the Sox in the Finals and earned their Championship. | 15th | Chris Stone named BMBL Cy Young. In the closest ballot in MABL history, the top award winners, as well as Player's Choice selections at each position, were announced today. From the White Sox, Chris Stone won Cy Young Just edging out the Indians' Daryl Pina by 1 point.

August:
| 30th | Sox finish season 18-7, head to playoffs With the conclusion of the 2006 season, the Sox are back in the playoffs seeking their second straight MABL title. The Sox claimed the #2 seed in the Atlantic Conference, behind the Cutters. The Sox will face off against the Marlins in the Atlantic Conference Semifinals.

| 5th | Jason Hoye joins Irish National team Jason Hoye is trading the black & white for the green & white of the Irish National Baseball Team. Hoye was selected to play for the Irish National team in their upcomming Euorpean Chamionships. We wish Jason and the rest of the squad the best of luck, and eagerly await his return to the Sox in mid-August.

| 21 | Four White Sox named All-Stars Congrats to Hoye, DMart, Biss and Stone who were each named to the Atlantic Conference All-Star team this season.

June:
| 18th | White Sox back to Cooperstown Former Sox skipper Brett Rudy orchestrated the 3rd Annual Cooperstown Classic held in Cooperstown, New York, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. The Sox last played in Cooperstown in 2001 as an exhibition against the Pirates. 2006 marked their first tournament participation. The Cooperstown Classic was played Father's Day Weekend. For the second straight year, skipper Frank Alexopolis, led his Brockton Reds of the Men's Independant Baseball League to the cup. Over two years, the Reds are 8-0. This year, the Reds defeated the MABL Orioles, 7-0, in the finals. The MABL Marlins and MABL Mariners also made the playoffs with perfect 2-0 records in pool play. Other competitors included the Middlesex Brewers (1-2) and Quincy Grays (0-3) of the MSBL, as well as the Senators (1-2), Tigers (1-2) and White Sox (1-2) from the MABL. |
