October 1, 2006 - Dave Martin represents Sox at All-Star Game

The Mid-summer Classic was rained out in July and rescheduled after the end of the season. As a result, Dave Martin was the lone White Sox All-Star in attendance. Will Bissonnette, Jason Hoye and Chris Stone had also been selected. The reschedule was also shortened due to rain, called after 7 innings, with the Bay State beating the Atlantic 7 to 5 at historic LeLacheur Park in Lowell, Massachusetts. Dave Martin had a few tough at bats and got some work in the outfield.

April 8, 2006 - Sox Take Carroll with the 11th Pick

Eric Carroll
Eric Carroll impressed White Sox scouts with his play at SS and 3B during the 2006 Boston Men's Baseball League Draft. Eric was the lone White Sox draftee to join the team for the 2006 campaign. He will add depth to the White Sox infield and should be a good addition to the lineup.
