Jon Banchick returned in 2000 as Co-Manager and Thirdbase Coach for the Whitesox. Even with three 2-hit games this season, Banchick's batting average and field time suffered as a result of a shoulder injury to his throwing arm. Even still, JB managed to appear in 18 games. One of Banchick's greatest career accomplishments was that of his 48 plate appearances in 1999, he only struck out once, while batting .404 on the season.
