Scott Bevis joined the Whitesox after being the selected via the 2000 New Player Draft and led the White Sox in innings pitched (31) his rookie season -- a total he more than doubled in 2001 (62.2). In 2001, Bevis posted a very respectable 3.02 ERA. He led the squad in innings, making an appearance in 17 of the team's 25 games, as well as wins (7) and strikeouts (43).
