Jon Brolin
#24 | outfield

born May 24, 1973

resides New York, NY

Jon Brolin continued to improve his batting for the third straight season, and also contributed on the hill. In 2000, Brolin pitched two innings of scoreless relief in his first outing of the season against the Cubs. And at the end of his season, Brolin reached base and scored in 3 of his final 4 at-bats, including his final plate appearance. Midway through the season, Jon announced that he was moving to New York to work for the NY Times. Brolin is also getting married this September. Brolin has also been known to bring a Ken Griffey, Jr. life-sized cardboard cutout to the ballpark for luck.
