| Chris Contact was acquired by the Sox over the
winter and quickly joined the 2000 starting rotation. After 4 starts, Chris was 3-1,
had 3 of the 4 Sox victories, and had the lowest ERA on the staff. Then, toward the
end of June and quite mysteriously, Constant vanished without a trace, never to be
heard from again. Rumor has it that Chris moved back to New York, but we may never
know. By season's end, Constant's 3 wins were enough to share the team lead in this
