| Josh Gordon joined the Whitesox in 2000 via the
New Player Draft. Josh quickly found a home in the outfield after showing skills
early on. After the first eight games of the season, Josh already had three outfield
assists, nailing runners trying to advance. Josh also showed good speed on the bases,
with perfect 6 for 6 steal success. Josh improved as the season progressed. In the
second-half, he went 8 for 22, batting .364. In one of his best offensive performances,
Josh scored in each of his 4 plate appearances versus the Redsox, finishing the day
