Acquired during the 2001 New Player Tryout, Zeph displayed true power, as half of hits were for extra bases. And Zeph even pulled out a 3-hit performance versus the Mets. In addition to his powerful stick, Zeph easily had the strongest arm in the Sox outfield, able to toss from deep right to thirdbase with ease.
