Dave Timmons is one of the league veterans behind the dish. Having joined the MABL in 1996, Timmons displayed true knowledge of almost all MABL batters, calling amazing games. A four-time MABL All-Star, Dave is also an iron-man, having missed only 1 game the past 4 seasons combined. In 2002, Timmons spent his 4th year as White Sox Captain by putting together another fine season. It was Timmons' 5th straight year with 11+ runs and 12+ RBI's and his 4th straight year with 5+ multi-hit games. Over the last 3 seasons, Timmons has compiled 5 three-hit games, a 4-hit game and a 5-hit doubleheader. Dave reached a milestone June 9th at Healy Field by notching the 100th recorded hit of his MABL career, ironically versus the Red Sox, the team which originally signed Timmons in 1996. Timmons is currently the White Sox All-Time leader in RBI, at bats and plate appearances, plus is in the Top 3 in countless other categories, including games, runs, hits, doubles, triples, homeruns, extra base hits and total bases. In 2003, Captain Timmons looked to refresh his career, opting for free agency and catching on with the Braves. Timmons will surely enter the White Sox Hall of Fame one day for his performance on the field, leadership and integrity. Records: White Sox All-Time leader, RBI (89), Plate Appearances (385), At Bats (337). Appearances: 1997, 1998, 1999 & 2000 MABL All-Star, 2001 Boston Dirt Dogs (AZ).
