Luke Foskett

Luke Foskett graduated from Salem State College in 2002 where he captained their baseball team as a senior. Through his college career, Luke scored more than 20 runs and knocked more than 20 RBI in each of his final three college seasons. During these seasons, he finished with exactly 100 hits, a .317 average and 9 homeruns. As collegiate highlights, Luke helped Salem State win the League Championship in 1999. And in 2000, he hit 5 homeruns, including 2 in consecutive days in the ECAC Tournament. Luke also played soccer for Salem State.

And in a White Sox jersey, Luke got off to a fantastic offensive start. In his first MABL game, Luke went 3 for 4 with 2 walks versus the Marlins - including hitting the game-winning RBI with a walk-off single in the bottom of the 13th inning. He was selected as an Atlantic Conference All-Star his rookie season. And by the end of the season, Luke co-led the Sox in hitting at .333.

Defensively, Luke was just as strong. In his second game, from centerfield, Luke nailed a Mets baserunner at homeplate with a perfect one-hopper to the dish. And against the Yankees, Luke came up huge with a diving play in centerfield to help secure a win. He finished the season with 45 putouts, 4 assists and not a single error.

Appearances: 2003 MABL All-Star.
