Kyle Michaud

Kyle came to the Sox after playing three years of ball at Wheaton College where he helped lead the Lyons to two straight regular season and NEWMAC conference tournament championships his junior and senior years. During his collegiate career, he played in 101 games and chalked up 356 at bats, 8th most in school history. He once scored as many as 41 runs in a season, and is also 3rd on Wheaton's All-Time stolen base list.

For the Sox, Kyle filled some infield holes and hit .300 through mid-July, but finished the season at a .444 clip. Kyle's season was cut short as he caught a stomach bug that turned serious and put him out of commission the remainder of the season. He is back on the road to recovery today, and was able to support the team during the playoffs.

Awards: MABL Player's Choice Elite Secondbaseman, 2005.
