| Scott Reinold joined the White Sox as a free agent from the MABL
Royals after the conclusion of the 2004 season. Last season, Reinold won a Player's
Choice award as one of the league's premier outfielders. He was also selected as
a starter for the Atlantic All-Star squad. He finished 1st on the Royals and 7th
in the entire league in slugging percentage and on-base percentage. Scott plays outfield
primarily, but has also spent time at first base. He was a force for
the 2005 White Sox. Scott has been part of winning organizations his entire career. His senior year in high school, Scott's Reading High baseball team was ranked #1 in Massachusetts and won the State Championship. In 2003, his MABL Royals won the Atlantic Conference Championship. And the following season, Scott played an integral role in the front office for the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox. In 2005, Reinold was the starting left-fielder for the White Sox and made a big impact to the middle of the Sox lineup. Without question, the biggest game of his season came on June 25th versus the Senators. In this contest, Scott connected for a triple, homerun, 6 RBI, was hit by a pitch and scored 3 runs. Scott will also be remembered for his antics in Canada. At 2:15 AM and after 9 innings versus the A's at Roger's Center in Toronto, the game was all tied up and ready for apparent extra innings. The Blue Jays staff insisted the game end in a tie due to the hour. However, after Scott led the team with roars of "Let them Play, Let them Play," the Jays staff allowed one extra inning.
