Jon Jackson becomes the third Wheaton College alum to join the White Sox after a tremendous collegiate career. At Wheaton, Jackson compiled a career 15-6 record with a 2.63 ERA with 155 strikeouts in 195 innings pitched. Jackson was so impressive at Wheaton that he signed with the Manchester Silkworms in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, an NCAA summer league and one of the most talented and competitive leagues in the country. In Jackson's first season with the White Sox, he delivered pretty much as he had in college. He delivered 38 strikeouts a season in college, and did the same for the White Sox.
