Greg Kosc joined the White Sox in July of the 2006 season for a 6-game stretch. During this time, Kosc averaged 1 run scored per game and batted a steady .353. At the end of July, Kosc headed out of state and missed the remainder of the season. Kosc has led a strellar MABL career. His rookie season in 2002, Kosc's 39 hits were second-most in a single-season by any MABL player. Only the Yankees' Jeff Coveney who had 40 hits in 2001 had more. That season, he was named Elite Outfielder in the league, and was 3rd place in both MVP and Rookie of the Year balloting. Kosc also led the Royals to an Atlantic Conference Title. Kosc continued to hit .400+ in both 2003 and 2004 proving to be one of the strongest and most consistent outfielders in the league. By the end of the 2006 season, Kosc carried a .403 career batting average. Of the 1,200 players to where a Boston MABL uniform, only 6 with as many at-bats as Kosc had a higher career batting average. A well rounded athlete in centerfield, Kosc has tremendous range and a strong arm to make any ball hit in his direction, or any runner who dares to take an extra base on him, a likely out. Awards: MABL Player's Choice Elite Outfielder (2003), MABL Most Valuable Player 3rd Place (2002), MABL Rookie of the Year 3rd Place (2002), MABL Player's Choice Elite Shortstop (2002). Appearances: 2004 & 2002 MABL All-Star, 2003 Atlantic Conference Champion.
