TJ Unger is a former member of the Royals who joined the White Sox during the merge of 2006. A consistent performer, TJ led the White Sox with 24 games played and 19 runs scored. Not surprisingly, the former collegiate sprinter was 2nd on the team in both stolen bases (10) and hits (18). His finest White Sox performance, however, may have been with his leather in the first game of the 2006 playoffs against the Marlins. In this contest, Unger's diving catch in the outfield helped preserve a Chris Stone 4-0 shutout, and the White Sox taking a 1-0 lead in this best-of-3 series that they went on to sweep. Appearances: 2006 Atlantic Conference Champion.
