Mike Pollak

Mike Pollak is a great addition to the White Sox. In 2005 with the Dodgers, Pollak reached base with a .492 average. Only 5 players in the league had a higher on-base percentage -- and two of them were the Sox' own Will Bissonnette and Dave Martin. Mike batted .326 on the season.

Historically, the biggest honor received by Pollak was his selection to the All-Borough team for the Bronx in the New York Daily News back in 1999. That season, Pollak was named "Athlete of the Year" at his high school for playing football and baseball. Pollak was captain of both teams and was named All-League for two years in both sports. After high school, Pollak was recruited by Tufts University where he played on their baseball team for a season.

Appearances: 2007 MABL All-Star.
