| Pat McCarthy played a handful of games in 1997 when Sox player attendance was at an all-time low. Even during his short tenure, Pat made an impact. In only about half a dozen at bats, Pat used his blazing speed to leg out an inside-the-park homerun down the third base line at Cleveland Circle. Pat's speed also allowed him to steal a base or two. When player attendance picked up, Pat departed. |
